I am selling an old diving watch / vintage diver, from the French brand Gérard:

It is equipped with a French movement, France Ebauches FE 7221:

Patented box no. 503.305, from MRP S.A., introduced in the 1970s in automatic versions:

Then available in a quartz version from the 1980s (see Watch Crisis). Two emblematic models used this case:

CONDITION:
  • The watch is in very good condition / superbly well preserved for its age (See Photos).
  • Note the inevitable, but slight, traces of wear on the case as well as a fine scratch on the glass.

WORKING ORDER:
  • The movement works well.
  • He was intentionally stopped to take the photos.
  • New Renata battery (Swiss Made) 371 / SR920SW, changed at the end of June for sale.

OTHER:
  • No trace of oxidation.
  • The watch, apart from its bracelet, is entirely original.
  • It is sold on a new Black NATO strap, 20mm wide.
  • Please note that it is not possible to wear bracelets that are too thick, because the space between the pump hole and the case is short.
