[WTS] Omega CK 2450. British civil services (India) issued. 33mm. c1945.
Greetings, everybody! Today, i am putting a truly rare and probably unique example of 75+ years old Omega for sale. Up in the images, you can see a beautiful condition, circa 1946 Omega CK 2450. This example has the markings of "CS(I)" and "911" underside of the case back, the former is an abbreviation of "Civil services (India)" and the latter should be the british assigned serial number. The outside of the case back has personalised engraving that reads " N.K.Mukarji," which, according to my limited internet research abilities, is the name of the last British civil services official in British colonised India. There is a lot of history in a small 33mm package. Everything except the strap is original to the watch, even the (polished) crystal. The movement has been thoroughly cleaned and serviced, and it is running surprisingly strong. I am asking only $999 for this cool piece of history, which probably is way lower than what i should ask for such an example, if that's the case, don't hesitate to offer me more than the asking 😉. Thank you!
