Weiss Watch Company - 42mm American Issue Field watch for sale. Deep green dial, backed by the Cal. 1003 - in house, USA made movement. This is a manually wound movement and was manufactured while Weiss was based in Los Angeles - which they no longer are. My understanding is Weiss hand made every component except the jewels and springs. From the basis “swiss” movement, this is upgraded with a higher beat rate of 21,600 BPH, a re-engineered main spring, and a power reserve of 46 hours. This green dial was the second iteration of the USA caliber, and is a rare find these days. Condition of the watch is excellent as shown in the photos - little to no wear and very few scratches on the high polish bezel and no dings/dents on the sharp lugs. Comes as a full kit, with the watch, box, warranty card and instruction booklet. I will also throw in a new Weiss brown leather strap (not pictured). Price is $2525 + label.
