The Rolex features a brushed steel case, which is accented by a bidirectional GMT bezel that retains its original blue and red “Pepsi” fat font “redback” insert. The GMT Master is mounted on its original 7836 folded Oyster bracelet, which is secured to the case via 380 stamped end links. The 7836 bracelet appears fully linked containing 12 full-size links, and sits loose on a 7.5 inch wrist. The Rolex features a flawless black “Mark 2” matte dial with tritium hour markers, polished white gold tritium coated hands, and a magnified date window aperture at 3 o’clock. The tritium hour markers and hands have acquired an even custard colored patina with age, which beautifully accent the watch’s matte dial. The movement used in the 1675 is the Caliber 1575, which is running well, but its last service date is unknown. 

Condition: 
The previously polished case has stood the test of time well, retaining lugs that are fairly thick and even, while the original fat font “Pepsi” insert has acquired a lovely sky blue and peach colored hues. The 7836 bracelet has been preserved well with minimal stretch for its age, while the coronet on the clasp remains well defined and crisp. The MK2 dial is free of any imperfections while the acrylic crystal contains some light wear on its surface. 

Overall the GMT-Master is in excellent vintage condition, and is a wonderful as found example of a reference 1675 “Mark II”.
