I genuinely apologize. My initial pricing was based on this particular piece and its rarity, as well as some advice and insight from those more familiar with its history and desirability. However, In order to encourage broader buyer appeal/interest I am reducing price accordingly and as fairly as possible to: $2,500 (or nearest offer)
I already regret having to put this exceptionally cool, rare and desirable (if you really know what you're looking at) piece up for sale. In honest/very good vintage condition (it's circa late 1940's early to mid 1950's), was fully serviced within the last 3 years (while in my possession). It sets and winds beautifully, running very well, all functions working just as they should, and with good power reserve.
*37mm *Fully stainless steel case *20mm lug width *Heat-blued hands
These have only increased in value due to their rarity (and killer Valjoux 72 movements, etc.)
Now reduced to: $2,500 -or nearest reasonable offer.
