For sale is a 1964 ref 45899 hand-winding Seiko monopusher chronograph. This was Seiko's first chronograph, released for the 1964 Tokyo Olympics with the Olympic torch on the back. This is a very good example IMO, with a beautiful sunburst charcoal dial and clean lume plots and hands. Notably, the watch retains its original intact bakelite bezel (rotating smoothly), which was often replaced during service with a stainless service part. The 37mm case is extremely sharp, showing detailed and prominent chamfers. The case-back shows wear that is typical for these shallowly engraved examples. I had the watch serviced in 2021 by Vintage Time Australia (Adrian Sellick) and it is winding, setting, and running.

My asking price is $1,295 USD by PP F&F, Zelle, bank wire, or other fee-free electronic payment. The watch and I are in the US (Colorado). Shipping included within the US.
