Hi everyone, for sale today is another nice Omega 166.010

1. General introduction
A very nice stainless steel Omega 166.010, very good condition, 35mm, white sunburst dial, solid hour markers, original Omega 1036/11 bracelet.
Brand: Omega; Model: Seamaster; Reference: 166.010.

2. Detail

Dial: Original white sunburst dial in very good condition. Applied Omega logo as well as an faceted date-aperture frame; solid hour markers (no lume, no paint, no onyx); dauphine hands; prints, hands, hour markers are all good.
Case: The diameter is 35mm without the crown. Original case in very good condition with hairline scratches. Original Omega scallop crown.
Movement: Caliber 565 with quickset date function. The watch is running, all functions work as they should. Serial number is 25238321, dated to 1967. Last service in Feb 2025.

Glass: Original with Omega logo, no visible scratches, magnifying windown at 3.
Bracelet: Original Omega bracelet reference 1036 with 11 end-links (20 links, 1 removable) in very good condition, triple fold clasp featuring micro-adjust with Omega logo.
Accessory: Watch only.
Overall, this is a perfect example of the reference.

Founded at La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland in 1848 by 23-year-old Louis Brandt who assembled key-wound precision pocket watches from parts supplied by local craftsmen. He travelled throughout Europe selling his watches from Italy to Scandinavia by way of England, his chief market. After Louis Brandt's death in 1879, his two sons Louis-Paul and Cesar, troubled by irregular deliveries of questionable quality, abandoned the unsatisfactory assembly workshop system in favour of in-house manufacturing and total production control. Due to the greater supply of manpower, communications and energy in Bienne, the enterprise moved into a small factory in January 1880, then bought the entire building in December. Two years later the company moved into a converted spinning-factory in the Gurzelen district of Bienne, where headquarters are still situated today. Their first series-produced calibres, Labrador and Gurzelen, as well as, the famous Omega calibre of 1894, would ensure the brand's marketing success.
