Caravelle (Bulova) Sea Hunter, hand-wound, 1971
Caravelle (Bulova) Sea Hunter, hand-wound, 1971
On offer is an excellent example of a 1971 (N1) Caravelle (Bulova) Sea Hunter (2876-DP). Powered by a practically bullet-proof Caravelle 11DP hand-wound movement, the all steel case offers a handsome, elegant wrist-presence. The matte black dial in very good condition is complemented by stick batons and a lollipop sweep second. Bezel and or original mineral glass crystal are both in excellent condition. Caseback has a few light marks and a single deeper scratch (see pics). The classic, minimalist design makes for a watch that goes with any outfit, from casual to formal.
37mm w/o crown. 20mm lugs.
Signed in four places: dial, caseback, crown, and movement.
All original, unrevised and unpolished.
Movement is recently serviced and keeping good time.
Comes on a vintage 1970s beads-of-rice bracelet, but other options available.
