From my personal collection: a solid gold all original Omega Constellations De Luxe ref. 168.004/14. The dial, case, and vintage aftermarket bracelet are solid 18kt gold. The 18kt gold weight of this set comes in at a whopping \~58g. This is a true collector's piece. Case: Excellent condition with minimal/no lifetime polishing, strong lines, and few scratches. The watch has its rare original 18kt gold crown. Please review the photos carefully, as I try to represent the condition as faithfully as possible. Movement: recently serviced powerhouse Omega Caliber 561 - automatic chronometer. Running in great shape for years to come. Dial: Immaculate 18kt gold De Luxe dial. Bracelet: Solid 18kt vintage non-Omega bracelet (weighing 34g), accommodating wrist sizes up to \~7 inches. Note that the bracelet has been cleaned, polished, and mesh (visibly) repaired in two places. Accessories: Original Omega buckle and Box. Offered at $7,150 plus shipping. Located in **NYC**. Founded at La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland in 1848 by 23-year-old Louis Brandt who assembled key-wound precision pocket watches from parts supplied by local craftsmen. He travelled throughout Europe selling his watches from Italy to Scandinavia by way of England, his chief market. After Louis Brandt's death in 1879, his two sons Louis-Paul and Cesar, troubled by irregular deliveries of questionable quality, abandoned the unsatisfactory assembly workshop system in favour of in-house manufacturing and total production control. Due to the greater supply of manpower, communications and energy in Bienne, the enterprise moved into a small factory in January 1880, then bought the entire building in December. Two years later the company moved into a converted spinning-factory in the Gurzelen district of Bienne, where headquarters are still situated today. Their first series-produced calibres, Labrador and Gurzelen, as well as, the famous Omega calibre of 1894, would ensure the brand's marketing success.
