Hi guys,
as my interests change, I'd like to sell another watch that has been part of my vintage watches rotation in recent years, my Omega Speedmaster Mark II with a racing dial. Reference is 145.014.
I got this watch on this forum from a fellow collector exactly two years ago, I've enjoyed it sometimes since and now I'd like to move on something else.

When it comes to this reference, case is the first thing to look at: well, my watch is in nice original conditions and the case has not been reworked or polished, watch has had a life but it still retains its factory edges and finishes and the vertical brushing on the case front is still there.

The screw-down case back still has the Seahorse logo and the Speedmaster inscription, slightly faded by wear and years but they are there.
I can't see the logo on the crystal, so I suppose mine is a later replacement, with the tachymeter scale font being an exact match to the original.

Dial and hands are in beautiful shape, still colorful and not bleached, the tritium lumeplots are all intact.
The extract from the archives certifies that this 861 movement was factory-fitted with a racing dial, so there is a good chance that the current configuration is the same as October 1973, invoiced to US.

Manual winding 861 movement was completely overhauled in May 2023 by the previous owner and is working very well. The detailed invoice is included with the sale.

Watch comes on original stainless steel Omega bracelet 1162/172, in very good conditions, suitable for wrists up to about 20cm, while 20mm is the lug width.

I have tried to provide photos taken in different lighting and environmental conditions (many are from the previous owner, whom I thank - box pictured is not included in the sale) so you can get an idea of the overall genuine originality and condition of this watch.
