Do you, like me, love the history of Panerai, love a good sandwich dial, but weren’t born with Stallonesque wrists? (I mean I guess he wasn’t born with those wrists either…) that’s where this sweet Luminor Due comes in! Not only is it classic Panerai complete with that crown guard in a very wearable 38MM (can you say potential Black Bay killer?) but this is also a full titanium case so it just disappears on the wrist. Oh, also it’s got a sweet blue dial at a price point that’s hard to argue with! REFERENCE: PAM00926 DIAL: The blue sunburst dial pops like crazy! Very clean date feature and of course lots of lume with that sweet sandwhich dial. They went with a very subtle aged color to the lume, just enough to give that vintage Panerai aesthetic without going overboard. All in presents mint, including the slightly domed sapphire crystal. CASE: 38MM titanium case with that iconic crown guard. Great mixture of brushed and polished surfaces, definitely one you can dress up or down. Being titanium it does have wear throughout but still presents beautifully and like I said super light and highly wearable, photographed on my 6.6 inch wrist. MOVEMENT: Automatic cal P.900 in-house movement is winding and setting like butter with date snapping over perfectly and keeping fantastic time. STRAP: Comes on its Panerai blue alligator strap with matching titanium Panerai buckle. Both have light wear but still look great, and the strap like the watch is also designed for a regular size wrist, fitting up to about 7 inches comfortably - no more crazy strap overhang!
