Not. Another. Diver. Dive watches are great. But by and large, there’s not a lot of variety in dive watches. The formula is set. Not with this Aquatimer 2000 IW356805. It has a unique, modern look with old world craftsmanship and modern features. I’m a big fan of the “haptics” of a timepiece. How does it feel? The bezel on this piece has a great chunky smooth action, and the bracelet is ROCK solid, with a quick release and IWC’s unique and easy to size bracelet system. Ah… the 2000 part… 2000m of water resistance. I have NO idea where this might be useful. However, any watch that’s anywhere close to this in specs is like wearing a hockey puck on your wrist. This Aquatimer isn’t. While firmly in tool watch territory, it’s not overwhelming in thickness, and the downturned lugs make this far more wearable than its competitors. This is a watch you’ll never need to leave in your shoe at the pool. Oh yeah…. DAT LUME. This example is in excellent condition as shown, and comes with box and papers.
