The subdial orbits around the dial outer ring with the sapphire stone pointing to the hour markers. The only hand within the subdial displays the minutes. Bernhard Lederer has created a proprietary winding mechanism which is formed by a rotating mass (the BLU logo in gold) that isn't connected to a central point like a regular rotor, but is actually mounted on a ring which is connected to a track that runs around below the movement. That track is connected to a plate decorated with Côtes de Genève, which is screwed into the back of the main plate where the winding mechanism would go. So when looking through the caseback, we don't actually see the escapement or any other part of the movement, just the winding mass, outer ring and plate.
