Rolex Batman 116710 BLNR. Full set (warranty card, hang tag, booklet, bezel protector, inner/outer boxes, all extra links). 2014 model that I bought in mint condition many years ago. Following a one month honeymoon period, this piece has sat in sad and lonely darkness in my watch box virtually unused. I would rate it as "excellent" per TZ's grading system. Many very light surface scratches that I've tried to capture with close-ups (that make them look more significant than they are to the naked eye). This watch is unpolished but a good independent could do a very light polish and it'd look brand new. Frankly, I wouldn't touch it as it looks new from more than a few feet. I have not had it serviced b/c it's sat in a safe for years, and if I kept it I would not do a thing. No need. Keeps superb time.
This is the original Batman ceramic, which I suspect may add value in the future. Excluding weird outliers, Chrono24 asking prices range from $14.5 - $17k+ and official C24 valuation is $15.5k. Yours for $13,500. I believe this to be well below fair market value so I am, respectfully, firm at this price point for the time being. I think this is a great opportunity if you want an original, unpolished example of this watch.
I've been on TZ for 21 years, bought/sold a few pieces ages ago, but am mostly a peruser nowadays so no references. FWIW, I'm a 60 year-old almost-retired lawyer in CA and happy to chat on the phone or whatever re: watch history, condition, etc., to make sure you're 100% comfortable. Probably a longshot, but I'd vastly prefer a face-to-face sale in the Palo Alto or surrounding areas at either a Chase Bank, a police station or an AD. Happy to drive to San Francisco or surrounding cities and make a day out of it. That'd avoid the hassle of shipping. Plus, 7 years ago I was robbed (yes, it was a robbery by force not a grand theft) when I went to sell a pretty 1675 at the upscale Sharon Heights Starbucks in Menlo Park on a sunny afternoon with patrons all around. Guy got away, made the newspapers with sketch artist rendering of suspect, the whole 9, still haunts me and pisses me off in equal measure.
