Hi everyone, Letting go of this 1962 Omega Constellation ref. 14777, the so-called “jumbo” Connie with a 37mm stainless-steel case and chronometer-rated cal. 561 inside. If you like the classic Constellation look but find the usual 34–35mm cases a bit small, this one wears noticeably larger on the wrist while still feeling properly vintage. # Condition **Case:** Stainless-steel “jumbo” case, approx. **37mm** excluding crown with long straight lugs. Shows signs of wear and past polish, but still presents well on wrist with decent lug shape and bezel definition. Caseback features the observatory medallion in gold with good detail on the stars and dome. **Dial:** Original champagne dial with applied Omega logo, text, crosshair and Constellation script with star at 6. The surface shows heavy but **even** spotting/patina across the whole dial. All printing is still crisp and legible. If you’re looking for a flawless or near-mint Connie dial, this won’t be the right watch, but if you like honest, even patina and don’t mind spotting, it has a lot of charm on wrist. **Crown:** Signed Omega crown, correct style for the reference. Winds and sets smoothly. **Movement:** Omega **cal. 561** automatic chronometer movement. Serviced in **11/2024** by my watchmaker and running well in my use since. **Bracelet:** Original BOR bracelet ref. 1037 with No. 556 endlinks.
