7 Carbon Treatment is 7 times Harder compared to SS 316 L

carbon hardened H2O Orca Dive and bracelet.

It’s is a metal hardening process and makes the watch highly scratch resistant. You can literally take a pin and run it back and forth on the case and it won’t leave a mark. Kinda sorta like the Sinn Tegmented steel.

Only the very first production batch of orcas and bracelets were 7 carbon hardened. You can tell the steel if it went through the process that it resembles titanium colour once done.
