For sale is a 1960 Croton (Nivada) Chronomaster Aviator Sea Diver with Landeron 248 movement. The watch is in very good vintage condition. While the case shows clear signs of wear, the dial, hands, and bezel are remarkably well-preserved.

Dial + hands: excellent black dial, the tritium lume on hands and markers has aged beautifully. The luminous markings are all intact. The hands are almost perfectly preserved. When activated with uv light, the lume on hands and markers will briefly illuminate.

There is a very small lume residue on the dial near 2 o'clock (at 400-500 on the tachymeter scale).

Bezel: The bezel rotates smoothly. The bezel insert has only light surface scratches, please see the high resolution images.

Crystal: Plexiglas with a few surface scratches and swirls. Will be polished by the watchmaker.

Case: 38mm stainless steel case with signs of wear/scratches commensurate with the age of the watch. The case looks unpolished.

Caseback: Factory-engraved stainless steel caseback with signs of wear and scratches. The engraving of the serial number 9584 is still well defined.

Movement and function: very clean Landeron 248 movement in fully working condition. The watch is wound and runs perfectly. The chronograph starts, stops and resets at the 12 o'clock position.

Crown & pushers: Original crown and pushers.

Strap: The watch comes on a new brown leather strap with quick release spring bars.

Dial, case back and movement signed. The watch is in overall good used condition and is fully functional.
