Romain Jerome Steampunk Auto 46 Gunmetal Black RJ.T.AU.SP.007.01 #065/999 from 2018 - Box, no papers. Timestamps in the last 2 photos I bought this on a whim while in my “giant watch” obsession phase (this is one of the “smaller” giants I wound up with), and now realize a 46mm behemoth on a 6.5” skinny wrist is not really the look I’m going for. ​ Purchased from Motion in Time in NYC just before the pandemic (Dec 2019?). Worn maybe a dozen times in the past two years - kept on a winder. If you’ve got the wrist to sport this watch, and you are a fan of the steampunk and/or “Phantom” look, this piece has your name all over it (and quite literally if your name is Romain or Jerome) Keep an eye out for a handful of my “Big Boy” Breitlings to be posted in the next week or two. ​ Tech Details: • 46mm w/o crown, 50mm with - 55mm lug to lug • RJ001-AS Movement (based on the ETA/Valjoux 7750, stripped of the chrono and date, using only the seconds at 9 like some of the early Panerai autos) • Carbon Fiber and steel dial (this thing has DEPTH and is a head turner) • Propeller small seconds hand at 9 • 22mm lug width 5mm thick leather deployant with 20mm titanium clasp • Limited edition of 999, this one being #065 • Production in 2018 • $12,900 MSRP (although can be found new greymarket for around $5500) ​ Condition / Disclosures: • Case/Crystal: Generally good (approaching very good) condition - the photos taken were to accentuate any wear (one or two small nicks in the glass, a few hairline scratches on the case) • Movement: not tested, but anecdotally keeping time expected of a recent 7750, have not checked the power reserve. • Strap: no major wear, but DO NOTE: there is a noticeable smell of men’s cologne (and a faint note of very good cigars?), assumedly from the previous owner. It’s not offensive, but within a foot it is noticeable. If you have a sensitivity, you’d be better off skipping this one (although, I’m sure it is limited to the leather, so a strap replacement would likely eliminate the concern) • I am not aware of any service history, and assume there is no warranty• Price reflects the above considerations ​ **~~$3250~~** **NOW PRICED TO SELL at $2600 shipped inside CONUS** (add actual shipping cost for RoW, happy to ship anywhere for members with good transaction history).
