Up for sale is a beautiful vintage Eterna with a cal. 852s movement. It was serviced by Chris Nicolas (https://cjnwatch.co.uk) in 2020. A detailed photographic documentation of the service as PDF file will be provided. The photo of the movement was taken after the service by Chris. After that, the case hasn’t been opened. Watch still runs fine so you don’t need to worry about getting it serviced in the foreseeable future.

The massive stainless steel case with fat lugs measures 37.5 to 38 mm without the crown. It is pretty sharp and appears to be unpolished with only minor scratches visible. The unmarked crown is, as far a is know, original to the watch.

The dial developed a nice brownish to golden patina. The thin outer track has a shine to it, which is a nice contrast. There is some colour loss at the edge of the dial, as you can see on the photos, but - to me - nothing which is disturbing. The hour and minute hand of anthracite colour turn to a subtle blue depending on the incidence of light. The second hand has the ETERNA typical red tip.

Keep in mind that radium was used on the dial and the hour and minute hand as luminous material.

The brown leather nato strap is included in the sale.

The watch is located in Switzerland. Im asking CHF 1'750.- for the watch including insured shipping to the EU and Switzerland. Shipping to other destinations to be discussed (most locations shouldn't cost extra). Reasonable offers will be considered.
