[WTS/WTT] Nivada Grenchen CASD, Newmark HS-18, San Martin GMT
Hi all, drastically simplifying my lineup lately - any questions just ask. NIVADA GRENCHEN CHRONOMASTER AVIATOR SEA DIVER: 38mm manually-wound chrono (sellita movement) with no IRL wear whatsoever. 100m WR, 20mm lugs, slimmer case than the automatic version at 13.8mm with domed sapphire. Kit includes Forstner rivet oyster bracelet with all links + a basic leather strap, original box and papers etc. It’s been sized (7” wrist) and worn briefly around the house, but it’s otherwise box-fresh. Reducing to $1500 because I got minimal response before when I posted it at $1600+. For detailed specs etc, please see my prior WatchEx post or check out the various write-ups all over the web (or shoot me a message and I’ll gladly discuss!) Super cool watch but again, I don’t wear it and I’ve had multiple watches come and go lately so there’s no place for it in my shrinking collection. NEWMARK HS-18 CHRONOGRAPH: Modeled very closely on RAF-issue 6BB chronographs from the 70s, apart from movement and maybe dial color they’re essentially a 1:1 reissue of the original Newmark RAF watches. 41mm case with asymmetric case (crown/pusher guards), wears like a 40mm. Seiko VK64 mecaquartz movement functions perfectly, keeps super accurate time, feels enough like a mechanical chrono that I honestly would rather own more watches with this movement than a lot of 100% mechanical (more fragile, less accurate) counterparts. Acrylic crystal is in good condition, can be buffed further; some minor wear marks on the case but nothing substantial. Nice thick leather strap + OEM nylon strap included with sale, no box or papers to provide. Asking $250 OBO. SAN MARTIN GMT: 39mm case (39.5mm at bezel) and 48mm lug to lug, 12.5mm thick. Running at incredibly accurate rates (-2 seconds a day) and packing a Hangzhou GMT movement (excellent Swiss copycat) that has never faltered in my full year of owning this watch. Everything clicks, sets and holds exactly as it should and the crown even screws in more smoothly than some Swiss watches I’ve owned. Extremely little wear or signs of use here, mostly limited to desk-dive marks on the clasp (which is an excellent milled clasp!). Bracelet has one sort of stiff end-link interface but doesn’t affect how it wears on the wrist at all. Domed sapphire crystal is still flawless, as is the beautifully machined bezel. This is what you’d WANT to come across when mom says “we have Tudor BB Pro at home.” Comes with all original bracelet links + one of those black plastic San Martin snap-closure boxes, pretty useful as far as watch boxes go. Asking $200 OBO. TRADES: looking for certain Seiko Prospex divers (SPB143 or similar, vintage Turtles), older Tudor Prince models, interesting vintage LeJour/Lemania/Valjoux chronographs, Sinn, retro quartz TAG-Heuer models, CWC. If you’re not sure just shoot me a PM, worst I’ll do is say no thanks. If you want to trade my $1500 watch for your $500 watch + $1000 cash or something like that, we might be able to work something out! PAYMENT: PayPal f&f or Venmo. SHIPPING: USPS PRIORITY or UPS GROUND, dispatched from central NC within 24 hours of completed payment.
