For sale: 1997 Rolex GMT Master 16700 40mm Pepsi. Fresh service. Box/papers.

This Pepsi comes on 12 full links. The 16700 reference was produced in smaller quantities than its 16710 counterpart helping to make it more desirable to collectors. Also, the 3175 caliber movement that comes in the 16700 has the desired quick set date feature, unlike the 16710.

This example comes with its original dial, hands, bezel, bracelet, etc. The 78790 bracelet is correct with the correct 501 end links. The clasp is stamped “S” putting its production year at 1994.

The bracelet was repinned and a service and expert polish was just performed by my watchmaker. Please view pictures carefully. they are an accurate representation of this watch. The ghost bezel has a deeper scratch around 3o’clock and minor hardly visible scratches elsewhere. I use a macro lens which will make any imperfections stand out much more than if viewing on your wrist. The watch looks excellent on the wrist. It was expertly polished by my watchmaker. Sharp thick lugs and the coronet on the clasp looks mint. Hands, dial, and bezel are original to the watch. The bracelet, clasp and mid-case are original as well. Interior parts like gaskets, etc. were replaced during service but any part that may have been replaced are with oem Rolex parts.

Box & papers are included with this collector’s Pepsi. You’ll be hard-pressed to find a nicer example of a 1990’s ghost pepsi.
