This is a catch and release watch, purchased new by me from an AD in January 2023. Not going to give all the details (as they are readily available online), but it houses a Valjoux 7753 movement (with date change button at 10 o'clock on case). If you have never experienced the Valjoux wobble, now is the time to do so at a nice price.

It is a great chrono, but I never gelled with it. For some reason I keep forgetting how much I don't like thick chronos and keep buying them! This one is in overall excellent condition (per timeZone grading, although some might call it Mint) -- I only wore it occasionally and it has been sitting in my watch box since March.

Price is now reduced to $1200 including shipping w/ insurance and tracking in the United States. I'm not against shipping international, but that will require additional shipping (and I will only ship next day) and I will not lie on customs forms about the contents or price. You'll likely find a cheaper example in your home country.

Sized for my 6.5" wrist, but additional links are included. Comes with box and papers.

Tissot was founded in 1853 by Charles-Félicien Tissot and his son Charles-Émile Tissot in the Swiss city of Le Locle, in the Neuchâtel area of the Jura Mountains.

Tissot introduced the first mass-produced pocket watch as well as the first pocket watch with two time zones in 1853 and the first anti-magnetic watch in 1929–30. Charles-Emile Tissot left for Russia in 1858 and succeeded in selling their savonnette pocket watches across the Russian Empire. The Tissot company was also the first to make watches out of plastic (IDEA 2001 in 1971), stone (the Alpine granite RockWatch in 1985), mother of pearl (the Pearl watch in 1987), and wood (the Wood watch in 1988). Tissot merged with the Omega watch making family in 1930 and Tissot-Omega watches from this era are sought after by collectors.
