This mod started life as an Islander 27, Long Island Watch’s upgraded Samurai-alike, with 42mm diameter, 200 meter water resistance, upgraded hexad-style bracelet with solid end-links and a proper machined clasp, fat upgraded spring bars, flat sapphire crystal, drilled lugs, ceramic bezel insert and a hacking and hand-winding Seiko NH36 automatic movement. I’ve taken that spec-monster platform and modded in an aftermarket Samurai dial and handset to make this thing the Samurai that Seiko should have made. Condition is almost new, as shown in the photos below. The watch is very close to new-in-box, showing no marks or wear on the case, or crystal, and the bracelet has only the slightest of desk diving scuffs on the clasp. The movement is running flawlessly, and I've regulated it to +/- 0 secs/day accuracy (though it's still an NH36 so your real world performance may vary.)
