Not really a watch, but perhaps nevertheless of interest for some.
These special chronometers from the 1950s appear extremely rarely on the market. And if they do, then without the slave clocks for the cockpit. I am offering a "full set", i.e. including the external components. And in almost mint condition. I have not seen anything comparable in many years on the market.
The 134M differs from the more frequently offered 6MX marine chronometers in various ways. The most interesting detail is that it has an anchor escapement rather than a chronometer escapement. This is probably due to the harsher conditions in fighter planes. However, the movement is otherwise very similar to the 6MX. The movement is additionally equipped with a mimic to generate a seconds pulse, which is used to control the slave clocks in the cockpit. The wooden case has a heating element in the base and a bimetal contact on the inner wall of the metal pot to thermostatize the instrument. There is an illumination system. Finally, the suspension is spring-loaded instead of cardanic. Nevertheless, a lockable semi-cardanic suspension is also provided because the clock needs to be would from the rear side.
Have fun looking at the pictures of this absolute rarity.
