It’s probably the most well-finished watch I’ve ever owned. Quick specs — Thickness: 13.1mm, Diameter: 42.6mm, Lug-to-lug: 49.3mm. But don’t let these numbers fool you. This thing wears like a dream. Everything is beveled and polished to such a high degree it just melts on the wrist. Seiko just knows how to make a comfortable dive watch. This particular example is in great shape. A few light scratches here and there from normal wear, but nothing major. No dings or dents. Crystal and bezel are clean and the pip lines up perfectly. Lume is a torch as is to be expected from Seiko (check out my crappy pic of the lume). This things shines like a diamond. It’s made using Seiko’s “Ever-Brilliant Steel” and it’s definitely brighter than normal 316L. It’s comparable to 904L. Of course everything is Zaratsu polished. The bezel is not ceramic, but it sure looks like it. It’s actually coated stainless steel. The one thing that really stands out to me about this watch is the crystal. Seiko call it a “dual-curved sapphire crystal” and it’s something to behold. It’s like a double-dome INSIDE the glass (look at the second pic to see what I mean). You get the benefit of a near flush crystal on the outside of the watch, but a wonderful looking vintage feel when you look at the dial and move the watch around. Amazing. Watch runs great as well, around +12spd from what I remember (ymmv of course). It uses an unregulated 8L35 movement which is a Grand Seiko movement. Ships with full kit — inner and outer box, OEM rubber strap and woven nato, all papers, etc. PLUS I’ll throw in two awesome FKM rubber tropic-style straps in blue and black and a pair of heavy duty spring bars. **Asking $2,750 shipped and insured — PPFF preferred. CONUS shipping only.** **No trades… BUT I could be tempted by the right Grand Seiko spring drive model (no GMTs) plus cash on my end if need be. Other than that, I prefer to sell only.**
