Rare 1960’s Benrus Skin Diver - Exceptional Condition - Serviced

Offered here is this rare and absolutely stunning early 1960’s Benrus Manual-Wind Skin Diver, made in Germany. It’s triple signed: dial/case/movement. Condition is exceptional - 9.5/10. The watch sat in a drawer for most of its life due to a broken mainspring the original owner did not know how to get fixed. It’s a time capsule, with almost no signs of use.
It's powered by a Benrus signed, 17 jewel, French made Lorsa-P75A movement. This has been fully serviced in April 2023, is super clean and is working perfectly and keeping excellent time. The case retains all of its original finish, and the edges are as sharp as the day it left the factory.
The lume has aged beautifully to a creamy and even patina across the dial and hands. Dial is a beautiful mat black, and uni-directional bezel is in perfect condition with great tension. Only thing worth noting, is the tiny white spec on dial between 7 & 8, looks to be original manufacturing defect. I had watchmaker leave as is during service to maintain originality. Size is 37.5mm excluding crown with lugs at 19mm. It’s fitted in a vintage rubber Tropic style divers strap.
Thanks! Jeff
