Merry Christmas everyone, and I hope 2023 has been good to you! If not, hopefully we can kick off the new year with some positive energy following this giveaway! I've been faced with a tough decision over the past few weeks following the launch of my own microbrand. Whilst this has been super exciting for both myself and the brand, it is less so exciting for my watch box which now has 3 less spaces. I had to think long and hard over which three watches to sell, and trust me I put off this decision for a long while in the hopes I might convince myself to buy another watch box. Unfortunately I did agree with my partner that 3 boxes was enough which brings us here today - the first of three random acts of Quartzness! Why Quartz and why this watch? Well this is one of the watches that accompanied me on my watch collecting journey, and was part of the reason I held a fascination for quartz watches, which eventually inspired me to start my own microbrand focusing on celebrating quartz watches. When I first started collecting watches, I could not have imagined where it ended up taking me. From starting with building and modding skxs, to working in watch sales, managing a string of luxury watch boutiques, and now starting my own microbrand - I have been lucky enough to be able to engage with and receive support from the watch community.
