Hi WatchExchange, Up for sale is a JDM Seiko automatic chronograph 7139-7012 from 1971. Flawless on dial and hands with original lume. Case size is 40mm. Movement service history unknown but is keeping time, chronograph and day date quickset function works as intended. Chronograph buttons are snappy and hands resets back to zero every time. Features the JDM 6139A with 21 jewel counts instead of 17 jewels for international models. The 6139-7012 reference along with the numeral dial variant is often refer to as the military dials as the watch has been commissioned by the Japan Air Self Defence Force (JASDF) in the 70s. The commissioned model has the JASDF logo featured on the caseback. Lug width for this watch is 19mm but I currently have an 18mm orange nato strap on it.
