Blancpain Bathyscaphe Ceramic 5000-0240-O52A for sale for $7,500 with box and papers. Case is 43.6mm in diameter, 49.5mm lug-to-lug and 13.8mm thick. It is overall much more wearable than the standard Fifty Fathoms but has the same 300m water resistance.  A word on the lume, since it ellicited some strong opinions last time I posted this ad: this thing is a lume monster. Not just for its freshly charged brightness, but also the longevity and legibility which is greatly aided by the big hands/small indices arrangement. Well-lumed watches I've owned with substantially less low-light legibility than the Bathyscaphe: Grang Seiko SBGX337, Seiko Darth Tuna, Rolex Explorer II, Tudor BB36, Omega SMP's (both skeleton and sword hands), Omega Planet Ocean 43.5. Back to the sale listing: The watch keeps excellent time and includes the original factory sailcloth strap and ceramic pin buckle. The strap has some wear as shown in the photos, but still plenty of life left. The case overall looks brand new, as it is ceramic, but there is a small chip inside on of the lug holes as shown in the photo's. It is a very shallow chip and has no effect on the spring bar's hold.  The blue sunburst dial has a great luster and is very dynamic under bright light. Crystal is in good condition with no chips but there is a scuff in the outer AR coating. One of the photo's shows it, but it needs to be hitting the light just the right way for it to be visible. It took me 5 tries to capture it in a photo.  The Blancpain Calibre 1315 movement features extensive hand finishing is keeping excellent time. 120 Hour power reserve, 35 jewels, 6 position adjusted and a solid 18k winding rotor.
