For sale is an iconic and classic vintage Seiko quartz chrono from Apr ’85. The iconic quartz chronograph is still considered one of the best Seiko movements to there. This particular reference has been military supplied to the SAAF (South African Air Force) but this is not an issued example but is identical save for the engraved numbers on the caseback. The condition is excellent to mint, hardly worn. I bought it from a collector and reputable member of WUS who bought it near NOS. It is a catch and release for me as I didn’t wear it much and its been sitting in the drawer since. There are some micro-scratches on the case, caseback, bracelet and clasp that came with it but they are minor and not that visible. There are a couple of small marks on the crystal at the centre which are only visible in certain light and angles. The bezel insert seems almost unmarked save for a very tiny mark on the inner at 28 and 47. The bezel edge has a slight mark at around 26. Edit : The bracelet fits my 6.5” wrist now but there are 2 additional links that came with it. All functions work fine and the bezel turns well.
