Thanks OF for the space! Posting this with a heavy heart, selling a 2447N to fund my business.

This is a very good example of a second execution Heuer 2447N which I consider myself privileged to have been been the custodian of for the last 5 years. I spent at least 5 years searching for one in this condition and moved mountains when this one came up for sale.

To my eye: the case has not been polished, dial is in very good condition and retains its deep black colour, tritium lume is original and in good condition holding an even yellow/green colour, hands are original and correct with only minor degradation visible under a loupe. Crown is signed and original pushers. The case is thick and edges are all sharp for the age of the watch, looks to be unpolished. Lower right lug has some more noticeable surface scratches but the bevel edges are still sharp and scratches are not deep. Serial number present and clearly visible 938XX. Though it does show some signs of honest wear this is a watch that has been cared for and used only lightly. Case back is correct and still has original brushing from factory.

Valjoux 72 movement, professionally serviced in 2019 by previous owner. Fully functional and keeps excellent time.
