Our Take
With its striking dial and famous case silhouette, there is no other watch quite like the Rolex Daytona. The watch is immediately recognizable – with its 40mm steel case, gold screw-down pushers and crown, and gold tachymetric bezel provide a distinct canvas for the unmistakable dial configuration they surround. The 16523 features the legendary Zenith Movement.
This particular Ref. 16523 is in very good pre-owned condition, meaning there light signs of wear with age. Notably, there are hairline marks on the bracelet and case back, along with the bezel. Though we can have the watch professionally polished, we advise retaining the original case as-is. The movement is running within COSC Specifications. The watch includes the original hangtag, and papers dated 1999. We can assist with sourcing a period correct box on request to complete the set.
