This watch is an excellent example of a Grand Seiko 5722 9991 which is the second model produced by Grand Seiko .

This watch features the later, improved variation of the movement - the hand wound 19,800bph 5722B and overall is in great condition - from what I can see it doesn't look to be polished - though, of course, I don't know for sure. For a 56+ year old watch its in great condition.

The size must have been huge for the time as its 37mm and wears like a modern watch.

It has recently been serviced and runs perfectly. When I bought it I also ordered a new old stock crystal, which I have not used the crystal it came with was in much better condition than I expected - I will include that in the package, though the green strap in the pics wont be - just the black strap (brand New & only worn to try on the watch)

PLEASE NOTE - there is NOT a big gouge on the lower left hand lug which I just noticed on the pics - I wiped whatever it was off & the lug is now clean again.
