Hi everyone, For sale is a great 1948 LeCoultre Powermatic with a LeCoultre Caliber 481 movement and gold filled case. 1948 was the introduction year of the Powermatic, which was the first wristwatch to feature a power reserve indicator. The second hand will run if it’s shook lightly, but it certainly needs a service. I had a local certified master watchmaker estimate the service cost at $375 dollars. As shown, the movement looks quite clean for a 75 year old watch. I would happily keep it myself, as it was charmingly found at a vintage shop in Wyoming, but have no use for it at the moment and figured someone here may enjoy it instead. Price: $299
