May seem tropical from some angles, but it's a spider dial. Enjoyed this watch for a long time. I've had some payments to make so unfortunately it's time to let go. This watch returned from a service last month, Jan 2024, from a local watchmaker that was RSC certified (third party) for decades. Beautiful work done by this watchmaker. Watch kept in as original condition as possible during service. **Service Details:** This watch underwent a $1,055 service ($850 after discount) and the watchmaker made an effort to keep the watch in as original a condition as possible. The 1 o’clock lume was also not filled in deliberately to keep its condition as original as possible. Looks beautiful like this. **Condition:** The watch is keeping excellent time. The case sides have scratches and dings on it since it was not polished. The Spider Dial is a ‘transition dial’, made during the experimental phase of Rolex when it was testing out new dials back in the 1980s, making this piece particularly desirable for collectors and enthusiasts. The bracelet currently on the watch is a $200 non-genuine stainless steel bracelet, but it complements the watch nicely. Also included is a 7206 bracelet which I purchased on Poshmark half a year ago, valued at $1,000, although some local watchmakers refused to verify it since it’s regularly faked. Others said it looks good. No receipt to prove in any favor. I will include it with the 16800 regardless if the buyer wants. I also have the receipt of the service included (as seen in pictures) and Rolex service box and cloth, which I’m happy to include that with the watch and the rest of the parts. **Extras:** In addition to the watch, the sale includes a spare set of 16800 hands, several bezel inserts, other misc. parts such as a dome crystal, and also serviced parts from the watchmaker. These extras, such as the extra inserts like the ghost bezel, are nice additions in case the buyer would like to change the insert to give it a new look. I’ll include them all as part of the sale.
