For sale is a SS Seamaster de Ville with linen dial.
I do not take the movement out to take pictures but I guess it is powered by a 562 which does not have quickset like a 565. I changed the date by 9_12 method and it changed nicely at midnight . I also guess the case reference is 166.020.
I bought it from Japan and have not done anything to it. Did not wear it, either.
In one photo, I put it next to a 168.005 Constellation so that you have an idea about its size when compared to a dog leg. The Constellation is NOT included in the sale.
Dial is a lumed dial with tritium which is long gone as you can see in the photos.
The bracelet is a bit more than 18cm but I can give you one or two links if you have a larger wrist. (not more than 2 links).
The asking price is $1000 usd to me. Shipping is at your cost and I ship domestic and internationally via Canada Post.
I accept Wise transfer.
I do not accept return. (Even when you open it up and see the movement is NOT a 562 and the case reference is NOT 166.020.
So, please look carefully at the photos and ask questions before you decide.
Here are the photos.
Thank you for looking.
Hoi Nguyen.
PS.
I used a loupe to check the dial again and saw some crazing at 8 and 9 o'clock area. Looks like it is on the clear coat, not the crystal.
The second hand is a bit short. The tip was broken off at the tip, I think.
