Sturmanski Soviet Air Force chronograph c. late 1970s, early 1980s. These were only given to Russian Air Force pilots upon completion of flight training. This is not a chrome plated case, stainless back, model that were often sold to the general public. The watch is all stainless steel, and in very good condition for its age. There are a couple of small marks on the case which retains the original unpolished finish. The dial has nice, subtle patina with a small scratch above the non quickset date display at six. The timing ring that surrounds the dial is controlled by the crown on the left side of the case.
The watch is powered by what I believe to be a hacking, hand winding 31659 movement. The more common cal. 3133 does not incorporate a hacking feature. The watch is keeping good time, and all chrono features work as they should.
