THE DETAILS: The Ref. 1500 features the Cal. 1570 a chronometer-grade movement stands as a masterpiece workhorse movement by Rolex, balancing precision and durability. It is the same movement found in the flagship Datejust but in a slightly smaller size (34.6 mm not including crown vs 36.2 mm). The Ref. 1500 was produced from the mid-1960s to the late 1980s and it came in various dial variations. This one being a more rare radial dial where the minute markers are emphasized with the same length as the indices. The design radiating from the center on the beautiful sunburst-finished silver dial changes with the light and pictures don’t do it justice . Despite its classic case, the radial design, focused on legibility is reminiscent of other Rolex sports watches. It comes with its original Oyster Rolex bracelet with 13 links (not including end-links), ref.7835/357 and a leather band with Rolex buckle. CONDITION: The crystal and original dial are in perfect condition, retaining its sunray finish and print texture from the era. The luminous dots and hands show no signs of degradation, presenting an excellent beige color. No tarnishing is observed on the hands and indices, and the mirror finish adds a beautiful shine. The rarity of the dial makes its pristine condition a significant highlight. There are superficial marks of gently use as seen in the pictures. FUNCTIONING: It was fully overhauled, serviced and originally sold by The Omega Addict in 2023.
