Seiko 5 in like new condition (reference SNK617K1) no scratches on the crystal, there are almost no signs of use at all except a few hairline scratches on the bezel. Seiko 5 signed clasp and folded link bracelet show no signs of use. Original box, tag and papers Black dial features a subtle sunburst effect, mirror polished applied stick indices with decent lume plots and beautiful arrow tipped red seconds hand. Minutes in small red print on the inner ring. Day-date window is unframed, with beveled edges and the day date wheels are black, matching the dial color. The movement is running well and keeping good time - averaging +10/+25 seconds Bracelet has full links / unadjusted for length. Can accommodate max wrist 7 and 3/4” (20 cm) Case width: 37 mm Lug to lug length: 45mm Lug spacing: 10 mm (integrated bracelet 21 mm tapering to 18 mm at the buckle) Thickness: 10.2 mm Movement: Seiko 7S26 basic automatic (no hacking or handwining) WR rating: 30 meters Asking for $107 USD shipped CONUS, no trade. The company was founded in 1881, when Kintarō Hattori opened a watch and jewelry shop called "K. Hattori" (服部時計店 Hattori Tokeiten?) in the Ginza area of Tokyo, Japan. Eleven years later, in 1892, he began to produce clocks under the name Seikosha (精工舎 Seikōsha?), meaning roughly "House of Exquisite Workmanship". According to Seiko's official company history, titled "A Journey In Time: The Remarkable Story of Seiko" (2003), Seiko is a Japanese word meaning "exquisite" or "success" ("exquisite" is usually written 精巧 from Chinese jīngqiǎo, while the meaning "success" is usually written 成功 from Chinese chénggōng).

Seiko is perhaps best known for its wristwatches, all of which were at one time produced entirely in-house. This includes not only major items such as microgears, motors, hands, crystal oscillators, batteries, sensors, LCDs but also minor items such as the oils used in lubricating the watches and the luminous compounds used on the hands and the dials.
