**Up for sale is a rare Seiko 8229-701A “Nautilus” from 1989.** **Case size: 38mm** **Thickness: 9mm** **Fits up to 8.25 inches /21cm** Featuring a matt black dial with luminous hands and indexes, Day & Date quartz movement and a screw down crown. This combined with a Genta-style thicker “Nautilus” bezel makes up a great vintage Seiko package. The watch weights with all links included about 90 grams and feels great on the wrist. Loved and worn for 9 years by the previous owner, this watch was then put in storage for almost 3 decades. But those 9 years definetely left a mark on it. This is not a new-like watch, but it's in decent vintage condition. Unfortunately the crystal has some little scratches too, but if you want to replace it then luckily spare cryytals can still be found online at an affortable price (approx. 20-50$). The watch received a new battery couple weeks ago and works fine and precise since then. Day & Date have a crisp operation and function as they should. German and English day disk with Saturday in blue and Sunday in red. **I'm asking $380 including worldwide shipping from Germany**. For payment I accept PayPal FF (or G&S for vetted members of this sub), Wise or bank wire.
