Tutima has an incredibly stories past in watchmaking, and is a true pillar of what I feel is the most significant region in watchmaking. The style, practicality, and innovations coming out of Deutschland are far too often overlooked for the Swiss. Yes, this is powered by a Swiss movement, but the design is wholly German. The watch itself feels a lot like a German version of an Oris Aquis - larger case, lack of protruding lugs, and a well-finished dial containing twelve sharp markers. The dial is set at 6 o'clock for balance, and the cherry-red dial is complemented perfectly with a brushed stainless steel bezel. These are also available on bracelet - but the rubber-backed leather you see here is exceptional. The wide lugs width will wear differently on different wrists, but I found this to be very comfortable on my 6.75-7" (depending on whether or not I've neglected my 40oz water bottle/companion) wrist. Both aesthetically and by size/technical specifications, it's directly comparable to the 43.5mm Aquis.
