The Seiko 7a28 was the world’s first analog quartz chronograph. These were found on all sorts of wrists in the 80’s. The RAF issued them to pilots and Roger Moore’s James Bond even wore one in A View to a Kill. This model features a full metal gear train that is completely serviceable (unlike modern quartz today!) and was overhauled at Time Essentials in Pasadena. All functions work including the not often seen tenth of a second timer. The buttons all press nicely. I threw in a new case back seal and put some fresh pins in the clasp for preventative maintenance. I have extra links for the bracelet as well. There is a small hairline on the OEM crystal but it is barely noticeable. The case exhibits hairline scratches you would expect from a watch of this vintage. The bezel has moderate wear but is still in good condition. The lume has aged and is probably the most “worn” part of the watch. I would like to add that it looks far nicer in person, in real light rather than in photos. This is a hard watch to value- DC vintage watches has a pristine one for $1700 right now and while I realize this example is nowhere near that clean, I still think it is in great shape. Due to the wear on the lume and the bezel I am asking $450 shipped CONUS via PayPal or Venmo

Estimated Private Party Value $400 — $599
