Hi all! Looking to sell a REALLY cool vintage piece here: a 1926 Bulova Penelope. Case is solid 14K white gold, signed by both Bulova and American Standard, with the diamonds and sapphires on the front cased in platinum; case measures 18mm wide, excluding the crown. Movement is a 7-jewel 6AP caliber marked with a triangle date code, indicating a production date of 1926—according to MyBulova, that was the first year this caliber was made, so this is likely an early model. Watch winds, sets, and runs, but I have not tested for accuracy, and it will almost certainly require a service to ensure it runs accurately. As best I can tell from my research, this is a pretty rare model that’s hard to find anywhere, and this one is in remarkable condition for a watch that’s nearly a century old!
