[WTS] Rare 1990s Camel Trophy Polar Star With Electroluminescent Dial – Made by Mondaine | 110$
Camel Trophy watches were some of the most sought-after accessories during the 1990s. In Europe (at least in Portugal), many young folks worked hard to buy one of these pieces. This is one the rarest: the Polar Star (Ref. 780.660-669), with an electroluminescent dial. What’s great about 90s Camel Trophy watches is that they were made by Mondaine, which meant they had some real watchmaking behind them. With 100M water resistance and a compass bezel, they were definitely no toys. They still have a large cult following nowadays. **Details & More** **Condition:** Good. The case and dial are in impeccable condition. However, the strap is a bit worn and the mineral crystal has a few scratches. **Case Size:** 38.5 x 43.3 mm, with a thickness of 11.9 mm. **Movement:** These were powered by a Miyota 6N10 movement with an electroluminescent (think Timex Indiglo) complication. **Other Information:** * Comes with the original 18mm leather strap and buckle. **Price:** Asking 110$.
