Good evening, WatchEx! First of tonight: the Fortis Stratoliner Ceramic P.M. Fortis is a name often overlooked in the conversation of powerful German tool watches. A truly independent watchmaker with a history over a century long, Fortis knows how to make a watch that lasts. Their chronographs are really where their magic lies - a no-frills tool watch with a very legible dial. Fortis is rarely bothered with intricate dials or finishes, but that's spot on with the aesthetic of a proper daily wearer. This watch is meant to take a beating, and it will keep on chugging along regardless of what you throw at it. It's like the Volvo of the watch world. The Ceramic version of the Stratoliner is a visual step up from the bezel-less models - the deep gray ceramic bezel is a nice contrast from the steel case and matte black dial. White, orange, and old-radium hands make for a timeless color combination, with the focus being legibility. This thing has lume that will light up the sky, too. Complete set, original bracelet/textile strap are both in mint/unworn condition. The watch itself is near-mint, rarely worn since original purchase around 3.5 years ago. Running perfectly, chronograph hands are crisp and snap right back into place.
