Well, this limited edition Big Crown Propilot GMT is that, but… with a story. So in 2020, in honor of the 57th annual Reno air races, an event that Oris had been commemorating since 2018, they decided to put out this PVD’d beauty. Only the airshow never happened because… you guessed it, Covid. So here you have a limited edition watch, just 1000 made, in honor of event that never happened! I appreciate their commitment to still release it, and I appreciate that you can get an automatic GMT at this price point! REF: 01 798 7768 4284 DIAL: Very cool black dial with pops of bright blue. Classic pilot look with some modern flare, really beautiful and in fantastic condition! CASE: 41mm grey PVD’d stainless case in great shape. A few micros scratches throughout, and then a little bit of wear on the edges of the bezel, but all in presents beautifully. MOVEMENT: Again the fact that they can offer an automatic GMT at this price point is incredible! Service history unknown but winding and running perfectly, including quickset, with timegrapher showing 5 seconds a day and an amplitude of 302. STRAP: Comes on its original Oris fabric strap with leather backing and deployant clasp. Light wear but presents beautifully as well. ACCESSORIES: This is a full and complete set: double boxes, hangtag, limited edition certificate, warranty card, everything that came with it new!
