Up for sale is my lightly and seldom worn retro Aquastar Deepstar 39mm chronograph. The watch is rated for 200m, has a coated Sapphire crystal and officially measures 17.3 x 39 (but that 39 is more like a 39.8). The movement is a “La Joux Perret Column Wheel” which is a Valjoux 7750 that has been modified to provide column wheel actuation. I don’t know if other modifications have been done but the touch on the Start pusher is very nice while the return is typically 7750. The bi-directional bezel provides a good grip and features a scratch magnet finish that comes with a fair amount of light surface marks but no dings or gouges. I would rate the watch TZ Excellent at 88%.
The watch will come with the original box and papers including a validated warranty card as well as both unused straps that came with the watch (a black leather strap, and a black Tropic rubber strap). I am including a shark mesh seatbelt clasp style by Helson that I liked best on this watch. I do not have the Aquastar BoR bracelet. I am timing the watch and will post results in a couple days. Everything works as new.
$2,700 shipped 2-day signature delivery. No trades please. Wire, Venmo, direct deposit and Paypal are fine. Overseas pays actual shipping cost. In person sale is fine in the Washington DC area. Message me if you’d like chat or would like any more pictures.
Thanks for looking
