Hey folks Up for grabs is a rather special timepiece from Ming. Well if I’m being honest most of their pieces are special but this one screams restrained minimalism. This example is in mint condition as it has barely been worn except for the wrist shots I’ve taken here. The strap is still stiff and can use some breaking in. At 38mm in width it’s easily wearable on the average sized wrist but the 6.9mm thickness is what gets me. The overarching air of minimalism is seen throughout but is most obvious in the case periphery and its hollow case sides, a true feat given that the case is monobloc. The movement started off as an ETA Peseux 7001 retaining only the gear train and escapement with the bridges and baseplates reworked by Schwarz Etienne according to Ming specifications. When purchasing Ming, you’re placing yourself in a class all your own, supporting independents with an eye for individuality while also ensuring you’re likely the only person to be wearing one in your vicinity.
