It resonates with the famous images that have captivated art enthusiasts since it was first shown in 1931. Our Exaequo Dali Softwatch is from one of the first runs that was made, reference 92006. It shows the original vision and high level of skill that Exaequo is known for and has a nice palladium plating, which gives it a stainless steel look but also some yellow patina as palladium can have a silver-like color over time. It is extremely hard and dangerous to install a new battery on this watch, which has been done, and keeping time great. You risk cracking the acrylic crystal, by first pulling out the crown and stem with a screw in the back, and then taking the crystal off, dropping the movement out dial first, and then installing the battery.
