Limited to 500 pieces, this one is number 162. It runs on Grand Seiko’s 9S66 caliber.  Honestly, I couldn't care less about the Hodinkee association. What impresses me is that this model is the same as the classic SBGM221 behind the unique blue dial, and only 500 were made. This is an excellent deal on a brand-new Grand Seiko.  The watch is in a new-in-box model, as you would receive directly from Hodinkee or a Grand Seiko retailer.  Box - Papers - Accessories: Outer box, inner box, hang tag, cloth pouch, GS inspection certificate, manual, and original warranty booklet are not dated.
